Mechanism
- Every $MARTY trade on pump.fun pays a creator fee. The treasury wallet is the coin's creator, so those fees are claimable by it.
- The keeper (a small server process that holds the keys) claims the fees. Once the treasury holds enough SOL, it bridges it to Hyperliquid through Unit, sells it for USDC and moves it to the perp account.
- Marty opens one perp position at a time on SOL, BTC or ETH, with a take-profit, a stop-loss and a timer.
- The trade ends on take-profit, stop-loss, liquidation, or when the timer hits 00:00 (closed at market).
- Win: the realized profit goes back to Solana, market-buys $MARTY, and the full amount bought is burned. Both signatures are published in PROOF.txt (War Room menu → Proof). Unit won't bridge less than 0.12 SOL, so small profits wait on Hyperliquid until they add up.
- Loss: nothing is bought; the next bet doubles. That's the martingale.
Rules
Leverage is fixed at 10x isolated and never scales. Only the size doubles. Exits are a 2.5% price move up or down from entry (25% of margin at 10x).
| Level | Size | Margin | Next on a loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1X | $40 | $4.00 | 2X |
| 2X | $80 | $8.00 | 4X |
| 4X | $160 | $16.00 | 8X |
| 8X | $320 | $32.00 | BUST → back to 1X |
A win at any level resets to 1X. A liquidation counts as a loss. A loss at 8X is a bust: the ladder resets and everything lost on the way up is gone. If there isn't enough margin for the next level, Marty waits ("not enough ammo") until fees refill the account.
What the AI decides
For each trade, a Claude model picks two things only: the coin (SOL, BTC or ETH) and the side (long or short). It gets current market data (mark price, 24h change, funding, open interest) and the recent results, and returns a one-line thesis. Size, leverage, take-profit, stop-loss and the timer come from the fixed rules above. The model can't change them. Every trade's decision (model, exact input, output) is stored and opens from BRAIN.log.
The other [MARTY] lines in BRAIN.log are written by the same model in character. They're commentary, not advice.

PROOF.txt (menu → Proof) checks on-chain that the coin's creator is the treasury and lists every buyback and fee claim with signatures.
OPERATOR mode
By default Marty runs in AUTO: the keeper opens, closes and settles on its own. In OPERATOR mode a human is driving, for example opening trades by hand in the fomo app when an automated position can't be shown there. While OPERATOR is on:
- a red MANUAL OVERRIDE window stays on screen,
- anything the operator writes in BRAIN.log is tagged [OP], never [MARTY],
- results recorded by hand are only possible in this mode, and are logged as [OP].
An operator can also arm or extend the timer, queue a manual buyback and pause the keeper (kill switch); each of these leaves a [SYS] line. If the keeper stops reporting for 30 seconds, the site shows KEEPER OFFLINE and holds the timer.
Risk
Martingale is a ruin strategy. Doubling after every loss feels safe because a single win recovers everything, but the ladder is finite. With a coin-flip trade, four losses in a row happen about once every 16 ladders. A bust loses 15× the base size ($600 at the current base), while a win at 1X makes a fraction of it. Fees and funding push every trade slightly below a coin flip.
Marty can lose everything in the trading account. Burns only happen on wins. Nothing here is a promise of returns, a price target, or financial advice.
